About Me

- Screenname? kupoartist. At one time known as "the_artist" formally known as Prince. Ok, not the last bit, but it does explain to a certain extent why I ditched that name ^^

- "kupoartist"? Yeah. "Kupo" is what Moogles say. An Artist is someone who draws.

- So you're an artist that draws Moogles then? No, not really. Well, I have drawn Moogles in the past (see the art section) but by no defintion am I really an "artist". I lack everything but the most ultra-basic artistic talents (I can hold a pencil. A bit). The "artist" in the name is more of a reference to Relm Arrowny, one of the cooler characters in the Final Fantasy games.

- So... WTF is a Moogle again? Moogles are cute and fluffy bat/cat like creatures in the Final Fantasy series of games. They affix "kupo" to the things they say in English (or Japanese) and kupo means: erm, nothing from what I gather.

- What is your Real name? Something tells me that your parents didn't name you "kupoartist"... hehe. Nope, they didn't. I have a run-off the mill average name that begins with "S". That's all i'm really inclined to reveal.

- So, Grrl or Boi? Yes.

- No really, Male or Female? Of all my atributes, my sex tells you least about who I am and what makes me me. It's ludricrous that social interactions are based upon what's between people's legs, as if every single interaction is based on an urge to make babies. Futhermore, this is the Internet and such things matter even less. Make your own judgement as to "what" I am, but bear in mind that I'm far more insulted by people getting it "right" than I've ever been by people getting it "wrong".

- Appearance? Unnecessarily Tall. Blue Eyes. Mid-Short hair. Pretty ugly looking really.

- Personality? Multiple. Sometimes i'm shy and introverted, overtimes I'm loud and extroverted. I'm none too sure which is the real me.

- Birthday? 2nd September 1986. So I was 19 last time I bothered to update this page ^^

- Location? Sussex University, Brighton. My "home" is technically a small village near Bishops Stortford in Hertfordshire, England. It's quite a nice place, chavs and miscellaneous idiots notwithstanding.

- Family? Two sisters, Mum and Dad.

- Education? 7 years at a CofE primary in the same village as I live. 5 Years at Newport Free Grammar School in Newport and a further 2 Years at Sixth Form at the same place. I'm now Studying English Literature and Language and Sussex University, after getting Straight As (and an English extension Distinction grade!) in my A levels.

- Friends? I like to consider myself friends with anyone I've ever spoken at length with, but I guess that just springs from my total inability to make truely close friends with anybody. I figure I'm not overly disliked or hated by anyone, that most people consider me a nice person and that I've never got close to anyone. Nevertheless, there are still plenty of people I consider good friends: Louise, Jenny, Sarah Jane, Jennifer, Sarah M, Ellie. Nick, Ross, Miles and also great people like Chris B and H, Zoe, Vicky, Phillipa, Erik, James L and N, Lauren, Martin, Alex C and Natalie. Phew... I do hope I haven't left anyone out. And i'm well aware that most people don't know who these people are ^^

- Beliefs? Religiously atheist (oxymoron?) and politically liberal.

- Hobbies? Run off the mill net nerd stuff: Anime/Manga, Games, looking around the web, chatting on the web. designing stuff (especially small websites that are of little interest to most of the world), occasionally drawing and listening to music.

- PC? Athlon XP 2600+, 1 Gig 400mhz DDRAM, 60 GB HDD, Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb, nice 17" LCD screen.

- Anime/Manga? I like loads of different stuff... Mecha, Action, Comedy, Romance, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Philosophical, both Shoujo and Shounen. Often depends on my mood. Action and Mecha are cool in that you can just switch off and enjoy for instance.

- Music? I like most things, but hate them at the same time. I used to be a big fan of Dance style music, but it's a genre that has gone fully underground or is otherwise simply legitmetised Pop music. Dance music and the culture it bred are well and truely dead, a relic of the 90s. I blame the Ministry of Sound, Ian Van Dahl, DJ Sammy and Satan. I mean Scooter. Now I listen to whatever comes my way. Band names? Faithless, Royksopp, Breaking Benjamin and Gorillaz are all that come to mind as bands that have held my extended attention. I also listen to unhealthy ammounts of Japanese music, especially Anime theme tunes. I just like the sound of Japanese voices, and the fact that I can't understand the lyrics is less of a factor when you consider that no-one writes good lyrics anymore anyway.

- Games? Mostly on PC but I have a Playstation and Gameboy. I like First Person Shooters above all, but I dable in RPGs and Strategy and combinations along those lines. I want to design games but I completely lack the skill to do so ^^
