School Work
English Language Coursework (Y12) A 3 part piece. The first part is a short story about a detective who prevents an assassination, the second is a newspaper report about the event. The third is a language analysis of the piece, with flashy words that are supposed to make me look more intelligent than I in fact am. (BTW, I got an A for the subject, so it must have worked!)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cool English Language Newspaper Frontpages (Y12) A focus on October 22nd 2003's headline making news, on fully designed Tabloid and Broadsheet newspapers, for some miscellaneous but fun mini-project. I probably spent too much time on the graphology and not the actual English Language Side of Things!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Media Studies Production Storyboard (Y12) A full, 38 Shot storyboard for the opening three minutes of a thriller movie. The art isn't top quality, but my original intention to do 38 full-colour/shaded pictures was just insane!
Full-Blown Ranting!
On the Daily Mail's "Manhunt is teh ev1l" campaign The UK's favorite "we're too shit to be a broadsheet but too up ourselves to admit that we're a tabloid" newspaper, the Daily Mail recently launched its annual assault on the games industry and how truly nasty it is. In February, a 17-Year-Old killed a 14-Year-Old friend with a claw hammer and a knife. Of course, the alleged connections to drugs money and the fact that the game actually belonged to the victim and not the killer were given a minimal amount of column-space. You know, like not mentioning them at all.
Anyway, just to set the record straight, I issued another edition of the Sodserver to highlight the industry's real evil franchise - Pokemon!

Fahrenheit 9 3/4 (Nine and Three Quarters) Spoof of a poster for Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11, featuring Daniel Radcliffe (that little scamp!). Not really that funny, especially as you can't really read the cast list where the little humour there is, is actually contained.
But Hagrid, there are no Weapons of Mass Destruction --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wake up and Smell the Ashes. (The Gingerbread Men are Burning!) As I frequent the forum of a Half-Life 2 site, I need some kind of blessed protection against the foul slobbering hoardes and their "New GMAN Sighting!" and "OMG! GMAN IS GORDON RAMSEY FROM THE FUTURE!" threads. This is my dual purpose answer to both, a new GMAN sighting that proves that he's really a sweet treat of a man.
